TERMS OF SERVICE · 2026
Terms of service.
Effective 10 June 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your membership of and access to JetSociety, an invite-only application for co-flying and shared private aviation operated by Axonn B.V.(“JetSociety”, “we”, “us”), Winklerlaan 367-18, Utrecht, Netherlands. By applying for, accepting, or using a membership, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use JetSociety.
1 · Eligibility
JetSociety is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. Membership is personal to you and may not be transferred, shared, or assigned.
2 · Invite-only membership & curation
Membership is by invitation and application only and is subject to review. We curate our community by hand and admit members at our sole discretion. We may accept or decline any application without giving reasons. Receiving an invitation code does not guarantee admission, and we may keep our community intentionally small.
3 · Code of conduct
Membership depends on trust. You agree to treat other members with respect and, in particular, not to:
- harass, threaten, demean, or endanger any member, on the ground or in the air;
- misrepresent your identity, provide false verification, or impersonate anyone;
- solicit, spam, or use the network for unrelated commercial purposes;
- share other members’ personal information, messages, or trip details outside the community;
- engage in unlawful conduct or anything that brings the community into disrepute.
4 · Reports, review & removal
Members can report conduct that is incompatible with the community. Two verified reports from distinct memberstrigger a review of the reported member’s seat. We may also review conduct on our own initiative. Where a review finds behaviour incompatible with the community, the member loses their seat.
Removal is final. There are no second chances. A removed member may not re-apply, and we may decline future applications connected to that person at our discretion.
5 · JetSociety is a network, not an operator
JetSociety facilitates introductions and lets members coordinate shared flights. We are not an air carrier, charter operator, broker, or travel agent, and we do not operate, own, crew, schedule, or control any aircraft or flight.All flights are arranged and operated under the host’s own existing arrangements. Any agreement to fly, share costs, or travel is solely between the members involved. JetSociety is not a party to those arrangements and is not responsible for them.
6 · Assumption of risk
Private aviation carries inherent risks. You understand and accept that you participate in any flight or activity arranged through JetSociety at your own risk. You are responsible for satisfying yourself as to the suitability, licensing, insurance, and airworthiness of any flight, operator, aircraft, and crew before you fly. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you assume all risk associated with flights coordinated through the network.
7 · Membership, payments & renewal
Membership may require a one-time invitation fee and recurring dues, as disclosed to you before you pay. Where payments are made through Apple’s in-app purchase system, the following apply:
- Billing — fees are charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
- Auto-renewal — a subscription automatically renews for the same period unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Managing & cancelling — you can manage or cancel auto-renewal in your Apple ID account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
- Refunds— purchases are handled by Apple and are generally non-refundable except where required by law or under Apple’s policies.
Where payments are taken via another payment provider rather than Apple, the applicable billing, renewal, and refund terms will be presented to you at checkout and form part of these Terms.
8 · User content & licence
You retain ownership of the content you submit — your profile, photos, bio, messages, and trip details. You grant JetSociety a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, display, and use that content solely to operate and improve the service. You are responsible for your content and confirm you have the right to share it and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
9 · Intellectual property
The JetSociety name, logo, app, website, and all related software, design, and content (excluding member content) are owned by Axonn B.V. or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. We grant you a limited, personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app for your own membership. You may not copy, modify, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from it.
10 · Suspension & termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your membership — including under the reports-and-removal process in Section 4 — if you breach these Terms, pose a risk to other members, or where required by law. On termination, your right to use JetSociety ends. Sections that by their nature should survive (including liability, assumption of risk, and governing law) will continue to apply.
11 · Disclaimers
JetSociety is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including as to the conduct of other members and the safety, quality, legality, or availability of any flight or activity arranged through the network.
12 · Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, JetSociety and Axonn B.V. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss, or for any loss, injury, or damage arising from any flight or activity arranged between members, the conduct of any member, or third-party services. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud). Where our liability cannot be excluded but can be limited, it is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.
13 · Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any dispute will be submitted to the competent court in the Netherlands, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have in your country of residence. We will always try to resolve concerns directly first — please contact us before taking any other step.
14 · Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes we will update the effective date below and, where appropriate, notify you in the app or by email. Continued use of JetSociety after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
